I’m Sophie Sifei Miao, a motion designer and multidisciplinary artist based in New York. With a background in Art and Technology from The Ohio State University and currently pursuing my MFA in Computer Arts at the School of Visual Arts, I explore the intersection of design, technology, and storytelling to create poetic visual experiences.
 

I see my artistic expression as visual poetry — a way to translate everything I see and feel into visual form, carving into the emotions and perceptions of the audience. I strive to create shared emotional spaces, fostering spiritual resonance and connection among viewers. Rooted in my faith, I’m passionate about discovering and presenting the beauty of the world as God has created it. By blending disciplines and pushing creative boundaries, I aim to inspire others to find harmony and wonder in both the ordinary and the divine.
